On this route you will feel Salvador Dalí private life of the territory, you will arrive by roads with little traffic to Pubol where you will find “Gala-Dalí Castle” in Pubol and you will be able to pedal through its almost deserted streets during the week ending at “Mare de Deu dels Angels Sanctuary” built at the one of the highest points of the Gavarres massif. It is an important pilgrimage center and it offers an extraordinary panoramic view of Girona, the Baix Empordà, the Medes Islands, the Pyrenees, the Montseny and the Guilleries. Salvador Dalí and Gala got married there on August 8, 1958.
